Besides the serious basketball players there are those that play for fun. These are the players that may participate in pickup games on the weekends. For these type of players there really is no need to spend a fortune on the basketball shoe. With a mid price range to be all that is needed. The recreational player may also consider purchasing a cross trainer shoe that can not only be used to play basketball but also be used for other things.
